A 19-year-old man has been found guilty of outraging public decency after performing a sexual act involving a children’s rocking horse in a Hartlepool play area.
Callum Green, of Hartlepool, carried out the indecent act at Burn Valley Gardens on the morning of October 19, 2024.
The court heard he also broke a tree branch and damaged play equipment belonging to Hartlepool Council during the incident.
Green appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court, where magistrates convicted him following a trial.
He will be sentenced on November 14 for both public indecency and criminal damage to the playground.
